Queens Game: Circuit Mode

The classic Queens rules meet a new relay system. Place each region’s queen at the exact numbered distance from its relay to power the whole board.

Circuit Mode

Puzzle #01

Time00:00Queens0/7

In Circuit Mode, the queen in each region must be exactly the shown number of steps from its relay.

How Circuit Mode works

You still need exactly one queen in each row, column, and colored region, and queens still cannot touch. Each region now also contains a diamond-shaped relay with a number. Count orthogonal steps—up, down, left, or right—from the relay. The queen belonging to that region must be exactly that distance away.

The extra clue does not reveal the answer. It narrows the possible cells and creates deductions that do not exist in a standard Queens puzzle.

Read the relay

A relay marked 2 means its region’s queen is two orthogonal steps away.

Combine constraints

Cross out cells that fail either the relay distance or the classic Queens rules.

Complete the circuit

Every correctly placed region lights the path to a single verified solution.
